Keeping the blues alive

It’s hard to believe it but music is not dying. It is alive in everybody’s hearts. Especially the blues. You can never kill it as much as you could kill rock and roll. You can only blanket it with your garbage synthetic tracks but you would still hear it everywhere.  Blues is the foundation of rock and roll, one of the biggest genres in the world. It is influential that almost all other genre has blues in it. You can’t kill it, you can’t cover it up, you can’t lock it up on a corner, and you can’t declare it dead and gone.

Some of the best new blues artist nowadays that I have heard of is Kenny Wayne shepherd, john Mayer, Virgil and the accelerators, the black keys, Joe Bonamassa and others. Thank them for keeping the blues alive, some even go as far as going mainstream pop only to inject blues along the pipeline and let the mainstream pop people induce. They can’t resist it. It’s like candy or chocolate, it’s very delicious and it doesn’t take a lot of intellectual understanding to understand blues. It’s all about emotions, it’s all about feel and it’s all about music.
