MAINTAINING THE BLUES

Blues music is of very old genre, older than rock and roll.  Many people say that the blues is dead and nobody’s playing it anymore are giving attention to it.  I say differently, because I saw lots of new artists keeping the blues alive.  Thanks to these musicians, blues music is still running.  This is very much needed because it cannot run all alone from the efforts living legendary blues artists of today.  That is why, as a blues music lover, I make it to a point that I support any artists that place or supports blues music, even if it’s tied up with other genre, it’s all good.

Musical groups such as Virgil and the accelerators, the white stripes, the black keys, Derek trucks and other new groups that keeps the blues music alive should be supported and promoted by all musicians because they’re and reason why blues music is still running.  So if I was you, I’ll go out and go to the nearest local music store and buy their albums or purchase it digitally on the Internet.  Another thing that I could do that could help not only blues musicians but all kinds of musicians, is to support them in terms of purchasing their albums, purchase on the original copies and don’t support piracy.
